Bear Lake Campground is located withing the Crooked River Provincial Park offering 65 campsites. This a well established campground and has spacious campsites with a picnic table and a fire ring. Lodgepole pines and spruce trees provide shade. There is easy access to Bear Lake with many hiking trails, two of the trails leading to Skeleton and Square Lakes just west of the campground.
This a dog friendly campground, however dogs must remain on a leash at all times. It is also wheelchair accessible. The Crooked River Provincial Park was established in 1965 and is 2,380 acres in size.
This is a popular park with its sandy beaches, dense forest cover and near three lakes. Angling, swimming, canoeing and Kayaking, are favorites with travels and local alike. The nearest major city is Prince George, 73 km to the south.
The camping season is between mid May to mid September.
