The church of Ireland cathedral of St. Canice's features World War II Memorial listing the names of those from the diocese of Ferns, Ossory, and Leighlin, who gave their lives to save mankind from tyranny.

Displayed on the west wall as you enter the main entrance porch to the Cathedral

It consists of three stone panels engraved with the names of the fallen, topped by elaborate carved trefoil stonework

The Center Panel features a Celtic Cross atop a list of names of those who never returned to their beloved country. The other panels are topped by Crowns.
