Interesting historical site. Larissa is basically a ghost town with only a few houses and a Monsonic Lodge left.

The Killough Massacre Monument is a 30 ft tall pyramid shape built in the 1930s by the WPA. In 1965 a Texas Historical marker was placed nearby. This plot of land is where the massacre occured and those killed were buried.
