This standing bear, carved from a tree stump, greets visitors to the Motel Six on S. Woodlands Village Boulefard, north of I-40. The hotel staff gave me a card for the artist; he is known as "The Bear Man." A smaller bear, also carved from a tree stump, is near the office entrance.
