This house was built by in 1925 by William Bopp, who was also the builder of Kirkwood High School (Nipher Middle). The house is construct of limestone in a Craftsman style. Prior to 1940 the house was converted into the Green Parrot Restaurant, a popular family style restaurant. The restaurant had popular parrot in the entry foyer which spoke to guests as they arrived. The restaurant was converted to a banquet facility in 1983, since it has been converted back to being a family residence.
