In the castle courtyard of Friedenstein Castle in Gotha, there is a small baroque fountain on the east arcade, which originally came from Molsdorf Castle in Erfurt and was later set up here.
The three-part fountain consists of a higher column with a sandstone figure of a boy with a dolphin, a smaller column with a shell-shaped basin and a stone bowl embedded in the ground.
