The main office location of Bill's Marine Service incorporates an elevated, full-size, outboard motorboat as a component of its business sign. The eye catching aspect is heightened even more because it's uphill from the road. It is easily viewable while traveling either direction of Garrett Highway/US-219 as it passes along a western shore of Deep Creek Lake. With caution, there is a decently wide shoulder nearby the entrance at the junction with Mary's Lane that allows for a quick visit and photo.
The bow of the white hull is pointed northeast, perpendicularly away from the showroom, and towards the lake. "Bill's Marine" is emblazoned in red and blue lettering on the port and starboard sides. Two posts hold the craft aloft. More than a dozen other signs for brands offered and serviced are mounted across a free-standing arch below the boat.
