Beschreibung des Landschaftsprägenden Baudenkmals von 1876
Stationen 2. Ordnung Neben dem aus 36 Stationen bestehenden Dreiecksnetz 1. Ordnung wurde gleichzeitig ein engmaschigeres Netz 2. Ordnung festgelegt, dessen 122 Festpunkte innerhalb der Dreiecksmaschen der 1. Ordnung liegen. Die Punkte 2. Ordnung sind etwa 20 km von einander entfernt. Auf dem Stein ist zu lesen:

Description of the landscape-forming Trigpoint
This is an important saxonian TP from 1876. Height about 1,6 meters. Freestanding on a height about 507 meters above sealevel. Directly on the top of the mountain unfar of the so-called 'Bismarcktower'.
