"This Archway of a sign is located in the heart of Encino and it crosses over Ventura Boulevard on the West Side by Louise Avenue and on the East Side by Amestoy Avenue. They created a BID (Business Improvement District) with the purpose to beautify and improve the quality of life for the residents nearby and for visitors as well. This was all created by 300 local business owners and about 75 home owners. They created the Business Improvement District in August of 2000. It became a premier retail and entertainment destination for locals and visitors." (
