Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department
The Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department provides services from three stations to a service area that includes the City of Quesnel and Red Bluff. We also assist with fire suppression in the larger Quesnel and District area, as required, under mutual aid agreements that are in place with the West Fraser, Bouchie Lake, Barlow Creek, Kersley and Ten Mile Fire Departments. Firefighters are dispatched by a regional 9-1-1 system in Prince George.
The department consists of four full-time and approximately 40 volunteer members. The full-time staff are here to support, train and equip an effective volunteer fire service and to provide inspection and education services to our customers - our citizens.
Fire Hall No 1 is the main fire hall and administration offices.
Fire Hall No 2 is located in Redbluff and has two fire emergency vehicles.
Fire Hall No 3 is located in West Village and has three fire emergency vehicles.
