[FR] "Rom est une commune française, située dans le département des Deux-Sèvres en région Nouvelle-Aquitaine. C'est une commune française située au sud-est des Deux-Sèvres dans le canton de Lezay. À 50 km à l'est de Niort, elle fait partie du "Pays Mellois".
Elle est traversée par la Dive du Sud (ou la Dive de Couhé, temporaire), petite rivière qui se jette dans le Clain à Voulon (Vienne). La forêt de Saint-Sauvant couvre la partie nord de la commune.
Les Terres rouges à châtaigniers et les Groies constituent les deux terroirs les plus importants du territoire communal."

[EN] "Rom is a french commune, located in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region of New-Aquitaine.It is a French commune located south-east of Deux-Sèvres in the canton of Lezay.Et 50 km east of Niort, it is part of the "Mellois Country".
It is crossed by the South Dive (or Dive Couhé, temporary), a small river that flows into the Clain Voulon (Vienna). The forest of Saint-Sauvant covers the northern part of the town.
The red lands with chestnut trees and the Groies constitute the two most important terroirs of the communal territory. "
