The Mt. Terry Fox Rest Area is a large rest area with picnic tables, playground and you can see Mt. Terry Fox as there are binoculars available. It is very well maintained and well worth a stop.
The playground is intended for younger children and has one large unit.
There are slides, small climbing wall, and places to climb and crawl though. It has a gravel base and there are picnic tables nearby, as well as large grassy areas and large trees. There are clean restrooms near the entrance and several sign boards, one is a timeline about Terry Fox's heroic "Marathon of Hope".
