The church was built in 1899, with combined congregations of Anglican, Methodist and Presbyterian flocks.
It is assumed that the wooden-post Bell Tower was placed at that time. It stands about 2.5 metres tall, with the rusty wrought-iron frame mounted atop. There are 'curly Q' wrought-iron pieces riveted to the two angular sides and to the narrow top. A ring for the hanging of the bell is welded to the top of the frame, and wire cable is attached to an arm for swinging the clapper. A hooked broomstick would be needed to ring the bell.
