The visitor's centre is the portal to the Wells Gray Park known as the “Waterfall Park” where there are 39 waterfalls to discover.

Jerry the Moose is impressively large and moose are the largest members of the deer family weighing as much as 1,200 pounds; they can grow to be 5 to 6.5 feet from hooves to shoulders not counting the neck, head or antlers. The antlers themselves can weight in the range of 40 pounds which they shed each year.
