Cariboo Sam welcomes visitors to Cache Creek, a town rich in history dating back to the Cariboo Gold Rush. Between 1860 and 1863, it is British Columbia's most famous gold rush.

Cariboo Sam is a large iconic gold miner that represents the hundreds of gold miners who forged along the Cariboo Wagon Trail. He stands about 8' feet in height and there is his pick ax and a gold pan in the background. Cariboo Sam is at this location for decades and has withstood the test of time and has welcomed millions of visitors to Cache Creek.
