World's Largest Cross Country Skis are 12 meters (40') in height and the poles are 9 meters (30') in height. Since their dedication by Wheelchair Athlete Rick Hansen on April 7, 1987, the giant skis at the South Cariboo Tourism Centre have become one of 100 Mile House’s main tourist attractions.
