This crossing is via a fairly large bridge as the river is a good size by the time it gets near Barriere. Just at the northern edge of Barriere, the bridge also crosses over the Canadian National tracks headed for Vancouver. 89C025 is monumented in the top of the abutment (here referred to as the "wingwall") at the southeast corner of the bridge, at sidewalk level, just above highway level.
