Post office is open 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
The lobby is open 24 hours and the mural is viewable through the window.

This is a WPA mural created by Jenne Mafagan in 1941. In 1885 a hotel owner hosted a Grand Ball for the residents of this small town. In 1934 two local school teachers organized a re-enactment of the ball in the school gym. By 1937 an organization was formed and the Texas Cowboys Christmas Ball was born. This mural shows the artist's idea of what this ball would have looked like in 1885.
