"Dawn M. Spencer, 87, of Waverly passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017...She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Olin C. (O.C.) Spencer;...a past president of the Waverly American Legion Post #492 Ladies Auxiliary."

Olin was probably also in Waverly American Legion Post #492. Since they were married 64 years he was probably also in his 80s when he died.
