The sidewalk along Anthony Street connecting Waterman Avenue to Central Avenue in the East Providence neighborhood is WPA-built. Anthony Street runs just one block north and south and leads into a residential area. This plaque is embedded in the sidewalk on the east side of the road just north of a small commercial building with a red brick façade at 199 Anthony Street.
The shield-shaped marker has fully patinated to a solid green. A row of seven five-pointed stars line the top straight edge. The outstretched wings of an eagle form the pointed curve along the bottom edge. The embossed text reads:
