The current listed church has a stately Romanesque nave from the first half of the 12th century, whose walls are pierced by a semicircular window.

It was rebuilt in the sixteenth century and has carefully carved historiated capitals (chimeras, centaurs, angels, sirens, a man and a woman arms entwined, men caressing the face of a girl, a woman with a man on the shoulders and holding her legs, an angel holding an escutcheon bearing the monogram of Christ IHS etc.).

Similarly, the transept of the twelfth century was reworked in 1520 by Guichard Antoine, as evidenced by the inscription "LAN MILLE V C AND XX GUICHARD ATOIE HERE ME MIST". It bears a beautiful square Romanesque tower with semi-circular openings. The Gothic choir with polygonal apse, with two rectangular chapels, was completed around 1200.

The collaterals are not contemporary: that of the south is flamboyant; the northern one, Renaissance style and completed in 1555, was built by two masons (Pierre Bernard and Arthur Clavyer), three stonemasons (Jean Laurent, Nicolas Legendre and Jean Rossy), all five of Chalons, and one certain Pierre Laurent dit Gobillart, of the Epine, whose job is not specified. The facade is pierced, like the nave, three portals of different era. "

L’église actuelle, classée, possède une nef romane charpentée de la première moitié du XIIe siècle, dont les murs sont percés de fenêtre en plein cintre.

Elle fut reprise au XVIe siècle et dotée de chapiteaux historiés soigneusement sculptés (chimères, centaures, anges, sirènes, un homme et une femme les bras enlacés, des hommes caressant le visage d’une jeune fille, un femme ayant un homme sur les épaules et lui tenant les jambes ; un ange tenant un écusson portant le monogramme du Christ IHS etc…).

De même, le transept du XIIe siècle fut remanié en 1520 par Guichard Antoine, comme l’atteste l’inscription « LAN MILLE V C ET XX GUICHARD ATOIE ICI ME MIST ». Il porte une belle tour carrée romane à ouvertures géminées en plein cintre. Le chœur gothique à abside polygonale, avec deux chapelles rectangulaires, était achevé vers 1200.

Les collatéraux ne sont pas contemporains : celui du sud est flamboyant ; celui du nord, de style Renaissance et achevé en 1555, fut construit par deux maîtres-maçons (Pierre Bernard et Arthur Clavyer), trois tailleurs de pierre (Jean Laurent, Nicolas Legendre et Jean Rossy), tous les cinq de Châlons, et un certain Pierre Laurent dit Gobillart, de l’Epine, dont le métier n’est pas précisé. La façade est percée, comme la nef, de trois portails d’époque différente. "
