Statue of a lion, the Czech heraldic animal dominates the recently renovated monument dedicated to 60 victims (fellow-citizens) of the Great War (WW I) between 1914-1918 at a crossroad in the center of the village Horní Cermná near Lanškroun. According to date given on the plaque with the names of the victims, the monument was inaugurated on Sept 4, 1921.
