Three wooden statues of Knights armed with shields, a bow and a crossbow ready to defend the town from all comers.

The adjacent plaque reads:-
"Created in an ambiguous styleto represent the
medieval history of Rhuddlan.
The knights are guarding the entrance to the
town. Not standing to attention as most
guards would be waiting around for something
to happen.

The sculpture has been carved from 380 year
old oak from Nannerch and the larch to make
the bench was grown by the artist's grandfather
in Rhuddlan."
