This County Flag is being flown as part of a three flag display on the northwest grounds of the Cooke County Courthouse. The flag itself could be mistaken for the Texas State flag, except for the writing and the way the stripes are delineated. The border of the red and white stripe is crooked and it represents the Red River which is the County's northern border with Oklahoma. The Words: COOKE COUNTY also appear in the red and white stripes.
