From the junction with ORE242 W of Sisters, travel S on FR1040 for about 0.1 miles. Continue straight on FR1018-140 for 0.7 miles. Turn right and travel a short distance uphill on FR1018-100. Turn left and continue about 0.5 miles on FR1018-160. Turn right and travel [on an unnumbered road] about 0.3 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 2"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is 34' N of the dirt road centerline. There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals on a Carsonite post next to the corner. Found two trees, a white fir and ponderosa pine, with yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the backsides. The trees have healed blazes marked with red paint.
