The Amsterdam Icebar is the only ice bar in the Netherlands. It is made entirely out of ice, the sculptures, the walls inside and even your drinking glass.

"The Amsterdam Icebar is one of the coolest places in town (literally) and definitely in the top 10 of things to do in Amsterdam. This fantastic bar is kept at a constant temperature of -10°C and everything is made entirely out of ice. Be amazed by this remarkable feat of engineering and enjoy this unique venue as you sip on your favourite drinks from ice glasses.

There are three free drinks included in the entry price. Upon arrival, you will receive three tokens, one golden token, and two silver ones. The golden token can be exchanged in the ‘heated’ lounge bar in the front of the Amsterdam Icebar, and the two silver ones can be exchanged in the actual ice bar in the back. (visit link)

The Amsterdam Icebar recreates the experience of Nova Zembla. This is where the Dutch explorer Willem Barentsz and his crew got stranded in 1596. Step aboard Willem Barentsz ship and go on an arctic adventure in the ice bar. Feel what it’s like to sit in the cold and keep warm by drinking two alcoholic beverages, like our special selection of flavoured vodka. Try the whipped cream vodka for example or the nuts & nougat vodka, which according to the rumours tastes like Nutella. Luckily you’ll be presented with a warm coat and gloves to help keep you warm when you enter the Amsterdam Icebar.
Tickets can be booked directly through our website at a low price."

"Your visit at the Ice bar includes a 20-minute tour by Willem Barentsz, who will take you on a journey with his stories of living on his ship The Mecury during 1596, and learn what it’s like to be stranded on the North Pole. Your visit to the Ice Bar will include 3 free drinks – you will be greeted with a welcome cocktail in the lounge, and then 2 others drinks at the XtraCold icebar, where you can choose from a range of beers, orange juices or shots. The “coolest” feature at the bar is in fact the bar- sculpted out of 60 tons of natural ice. But don’t worry about dressing up for the occasion, for your experience and comfort they provide you with warm clothing and gloves so you’ll be able to keep a steady grip on your glass, which is also made out of ice!"
