Dunn’s River Falls is a multi-tiered cascade that flows from the mountain above down into the Caribbean Sea. On this day, Ash Wednesday - a national holiday, thousands of people entered the water at the base of the falls and climbed 185' high and 600' in distance along the limestone rocks over which the water of Dunn's River flows. For safety, people hold hand to form human chains which are led by experienced guides. Dunn’s River Falls has become one of the most popular attractions in Jamaica.
