CZ: Sv. Roch z Montpellieru (asi 1295 - 1327) je francouzský katolický svetec, predevším uctívaný jako patron proti moru.
Sv. Roch bývá znázornován jako mladý zarostlý muž v poutnickém odení (široký klobouk a hul), který si vykasává odev na noze, takže jsou patrné praskající morové vredy na jeho stehne. Doprovází jej pes, který nekdy olizuje hnis, vytékající z vredu na noze.
Pískovcová socha svetce z roku 1811, jehož atributem je pes. Na podstavci je nemecký nápis: "Heiliger Rochus bitte für uns! 1811 Erneu 1932"
ENG: St. Roch of Montpellier (c. 1295 - 1327) is a French Catholic saint, especially worshiped as a patron against the plague.
St. Roch is portrayed as a young, overgrown man in a pilgrim's robe (a wide hat and a stick) who wears a leg outfit so that the plague of plague on his thigh is visible. It is accompanied by a dog, which sometimes licks pus, flowing from the ulcer on the leg.
A sandstone statue of a saint from 1811, whose attribute is a dog. On the pedestal there is a German inscription: "Heiliger Rochus bitte für uns! 1811 Erneu 1932" (Holy Rochus please for us! 1811 renewed 1932).
