"The Fox” is a life-size bronze sculpture depicting the life of a young fox leaping through the tall grass and running next to the trees. The work of art was created by artist and St. Louis native, Harry Weber, in 2004. Weber’s work embodies human emotion and power with a spontaneity developed from a lifelong habit of sketching from life.

"A renowned, international sculptor, Harry Weber was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1942. He was educated at Princeton University, where he studied art history. Weber has produced a body of work of over 90 large and more than 200 smaller pieces. His work embodies human emotion and power with a spontaneity developed from a lifelong habit of sketching from life. He creates sculptures, which capture an instant, never static or posed, with a distinct style that makes maximum use of the natural fluidity of the bronze medium." ~ Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis
