Pool was a small village within the Illogan Parish
As the village grew the chapel was built.consecrated 1809
The clock face is inset from the profile of the main tower, with a black face and golden numerals and hands. The numbers are set in roman numerals.
The clock face is only on one elevation with circular windows on anther two faces,however, one has been rendered up.
Above the clock is a stone "eye brow" to assist with water run off.
