The twin towns of Tuncurry and Forster are at the top of the Great Lakes and have plenty of water-based activities including fishing. There are four Information Centres within the Great Lakes region. Their friendly volunteer staff have plenty of personal information on the area and will help you plan your visit and stay. You can get guides and maps, and book accommodation while there. There is also a coach terminal at the door, for travel to Newcastle, or north.
