Taken from Wikipedia, "San Juan Hot Springs is a geological feature along California State Route 74 in unincorporated Orange County, California near the city of San Juan Capistrano within Casper's Regional Park. The site is managed by OC Parks and is a hidden gem within the Santa Ana Mountains. It features naturally heated geothermal water in a series of both manmade and natural pools. Sulfur, which smells like rotten eggs, is prevalent at the site. The closest parking exists at the National Forrest Fire Station just north of the site which requires about a half mile walk. It is possible to hike to the site entirely within Casper's Regional Park, although it is more than a few miles roundtrip. It is the only known geothermal site within Orange County."
