In the park on the Colline du Chateau or “Castle Hill” in Nice, France a plinth with a beautiful mosaic has been erected. According to this website the mosaic is called "Athena and the sea creatures", was designed by Charles Catherin, the city architect and assembled by Honoré Gilly in the 1960s.

In the middle we see the head of Athena, looking to the left and wearing a helmet and left and right there are several sea creatures, like fishes, octopi and so on. The mosaic is very colorful and in good condition.
