When I was there the volunteer was taking a group of school children through the Courthouse.
The sign at the front points the visitor to a glass covered board where is there is information on 'Self-Guided Tours'.
When it attended by volunteers, you can stop in at Hartley Historic Site Visitor Centre at the Farmer's Inn to find out about the history of the buildings and town, Australian souvenirs, book tours, and stock up on snacks and drinks. The Visitor Centre is a historic colonial building, which became an inn in 1865.
