Everything seemed to be intact with the beacon and it looked relatively new. Its a five hour climb from the North side to reach and not recommended unless you do it with someone who knows the route and is experienced at scrambling.
At first we couldnt see any name / number but then saw it was marked in the concrete around the pillar which I think is a bit unusual. There appeared to be a date which looked like 110789 and I wonder whether work was done on it then ?
Visit Instructions:We don't require you to provide any specific proof of your visit, but we do request that you upload photos if possible, the more the merrier.
Ideally, you should try to take photos at the actual beacon location, but if that isn't possible (private property, terrain, etc), then photos taken from a distance are also welcome, especially if the beacon is visible in the photo.
