Memorial to William Davenport and his wife (d.1640 and 1639) on the south wall of the chancel in St Cuthbert's church, Doveridge.
Free standing figures face each other across a prayer desk, with an architectural surround. Below, three praying children and a child in a cot.

"William Davenport and Marie Milward were married at her parish of Doveridge, Derbyshire on 12 January 1631.

William Davenport of Henbury was buried at Doveridge, Derbyshire, on 25 June 1640. He and his wife have a memorial in the church:

To the memory of William Devenport of Henbury in the County of Chester, Esqr who by Mary his wife had issue William Grace Issabel Thomazen and died 24th June in the 37 year of his age.
Sacred to the memory of Mary the eldest daughter of Thomas Milward of Eaton Dovedale in the County of Derby, Kt, Justice of Chester and his wife of seven years of William Devenport of Henbury whom corsum'd to death on Epiphany 1639."
