The Cumberland High School Class of 1957 planted and dedicated a tree at the Tucker Athletic Complex in Cumberland, Rhode Island, to honor classmates and faculty. It is marked with a small black granite plinth in a raised, circular planter bed constructed from layered flagstone. The marker is engraved:

A laser engraving on the left edge of the front face contains a three-masted clipper ship -- representing the school's teams nickname, The Clippers. The text "TRUE BLUE" is engraved on the right edge of the front face in reference to the school colors of blue and white. The tree and the marker are at the southwest corner of the tennis courts.
