The Tolmie Sports Ground has a history going back to the 1880's; and I guess only in recent times has it been necessary to stipulate that dogs can run free here - EXCEPT during Public Events.
With plenty of shade trees, toilets and showers, and ample parking, this is a good place to pull over and let your dog out for a run.
