A little worse for wear, the Orchard Grange 346 is no longer an operating grange. However, the building still stands as a testament to the strength of this rural society.

Located on Grandview Road just east of Vista Road, Orchard Grange 346 speaks of the strong farmers' movement in this district. Vista Road was the main north-south route from Ferndale to northwestern Whatcom County and Canada until the late 1920s when US 99 was built a short distance east of here.
As to the grange, there's no history that I've been able to find on when it started and ceased. The building is rather attractive even today.
