SERVED PORT DOVER FOR MANY
YEARS. ELMER LEWIS WAS AN ACTIVE
COMMUNITY MEMBER INVOLVED IN THE
MASONIC LODGE, PORT DOVER LIONS
CLUB, VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT,
BOARD OF TRADE, FOUNDER OF MINOR
HOCKEY AND MANY CHARITABLE
CAUSES. HE RECEIVED THE ONTARIO
VOLUNTEER AWARD, PORT DOVER
CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARD FOR 1991 AND
THE MELVIN JONES FELLOWSHIP OF
LIONS INTERNATIONAL
