En France, il existe une classification des Office de tourisme mais depuis le 1er janvier 2014, pour être classé en I ou II, elles doivent proposer un accès WiFi.
Ce n'est pas leur métier, aussi, elles font souvent appel au même prestataire spécialisé Clic & Sufr (2isr).
L'accès se fait en deux temps :

• l'utilisateur se connecte avec son téléphone sur le SSID de l'office de tourisme pour saisir son adresse mail
• l'utilisateur a alors 15 mn de connexion gratuite pour accéder à sa messagerie et valider un lien qui lui a été envoyé.

L'utilisateur a alors un accès qui respecte la réglementation :

• blocage des téléchargement illégaux.
• blocage des sites interdits par la réglementation (Terrorisme*, Pédophilie*, ...) par utilisation des listes officielles mises à jour par le gouvernement.
• isolation des clients entre eux afin d'éviter toutes les communications.
• sécurisation, cryptage des échanges de vos clients.
