The mosaic is a stylization of our Lord's descent into the underworld in order to recover Adam and Eve from their graves. The scene coincides with the image of the Good Shepherd who goes out looking for the lost sheep and carries it on his shoulders with all his paternel love. (visit link)

The Holy Year of Mercy was a Roman Catholic period of prayer held from 8 December 2015, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, to 20 November 2016, the Feast of Christ the King. Like previous jubilees, it was seen by the Church as a period for remission of sins and universal pardon focusing particularly on God's forgiveness and mercy. (visit link)

Carita Roma reception centers host men, women and mothers with minor children. There are housing communities for international political and protected refugees; family houses for AIDS patients and centers for child care. During the reception period, guests are helped to overcome the marginal situation in which they find themselves through a work of support to the person and support in the search for autonomous employment and housing solutions. The goal is therefore to promote the social reintegration of people, so that they can once again look confidently at life. (visit link)
