Also known as Kindleton African American Cemetery, Oak Hill Baptist Cemetery, Paradise Cemetery, and Paradise Garden Cemetery.
There is conflicting information on the Fort Bend County Cemetery site. It lists Oak Hill Baptist as being inactive on one page and active on another, it shows it is on private property on on page and doesn't mention anything about it on another.
For the sake of this waymark:
This is a large cemetery, several acres in size. The right hand side is laid out evenly and the rows are numbered. The left hand side is more random, with groups of markers scattered. There is a large oak tree just off the cemetery road which maybe where the name "Oak Hill" came from.
The Fort Bend county sited states that this is a primarily African-American cemetery.
Interments range from early 1930s to present.
