"Michael" is an 18' by 25' geometric abstract sculpture fabricated from Cor-Ten steel by John Richard Ramondi. It was created in 1975 with finding from the National Endowment for the Arts and dedicated May 29, 1975.

The sculpture has two parts. The larger part is an 18' high, distorted M shaped element. The smaller piece is L shaped piece set with the apex in the air.

A ground level plaque is inscribed:

GIFT TO
THE CITY OF PORTLAND
FROM CANAL BANK
MAY 29, 1975
