From the junction with ORE242 W of Sisters, travel generally W then S on FR15 for 4.5 miles. Bear right on FR1520 and continue for 2.4 miles to the marker on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe; rising 7" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is N, 260' from the centerline of FR1520. There is at a LOCATION POSTER on the N side of the road. Did not search for the NW quadrant BEARING OBJECT; found others established by Ham. Attached are photographs of the brass washer and nail in the SW BO and of RM 1, a 2" aluminum cap rising 8". Closer to the quarter corner are fence posts; 44" E with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs, and 68" W with a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign.
