For his Eagle Scout Project, Steven Rapp of Troop 214 built a wheelchair ramp for handicap viewing of the entry area of the CREW (Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed) bird rookery. It is the largest intact watershed in Southwest Florida, straddling Lee and Collier Counties. The platform protrudes over a small swamp lake at the trailhead. It was built in February of 2015.
