The Venetian Resort and Casino is located on Macau's Cotai Strip. It is modeled on its sister casino, the Venetian in Las Vegas, NV. It was completed in 2007.
The Venetian Macau is the largest casino in the world, the largest single structure hotel building in Asia, and also the seventh-largest building in the world by floor area. Floor space encompasses 10,500,000 square feet. The hotel rises a majestic 39 stories.
When the gaming area first opened it consisted of 510,000 square feet housing approximately 3,400 slot machines and 800 gaming tables, located in four separate areas. Since then the size has increased to 550,000 square feet, accommodating about 6,000 slot machines and over 800 tables.
