Het veldkruis tegenover het kapelletje aan de Veulenseweg. Schuin tegenover de kapel aan de Veulenseweg nabij het Overbroek staat een kruisbeeld, dat volgens de overlevering is geplaatst ter afwering van besmettelijke ziekten, met name de zogenaamde „rode loop”. Het originele houten corpus, van rond tweehonderd jaar oud, is door de familie Croymans aan het museum te Venray geschonken. En nieuw betonnen beeld is gegoten door de werkgroep kruisen en kapellen te Venray. Door de firma Leyssen uit Veulen is het huidige kruishout geleverd en door de werkgroep 25 meter vanaf de oorspronkelijke plaats in de richting Leunen neergezet.
Op het bord staat vermeld: Gedenk o mens 't geen gij hier ziet 't Is Christus beeld maar Christus niet. Daarom aanbidt hout noch steen Maar Uwen God en Heer alleen. En Offer voor de gelovige zielen in het vagevuur.
