This bench in honour of Norah Pennington can be found in the Kirk Maughold Churchyard. The bench is on the right of the churchyard entrance when entering the churchyard from the village.
This dark-coloured wooden bench has a horizontally slatted seat and a vertically slatted backrest. It also has two armrests.
Carved into the backrest is the following dedication:
"IN MEMORY. NORAH PENNINGTON 4.7.70.”
The bench is positioned to the east of the church and looks across the churchyard towards the Church which from an elevated.
Where is this bench located?: To the east of the church with a view across the churchyard near to the Maughold Parish War Memorial.
