This Police Station may have been so new when I visited it in December (New years Eve) 2018, that they didn't have the Opening Plaque up yet, as it was opened in September 2018. (visit link)

It was built on the same site as the previous Station, and started operating in July 2018. It cost some $3M. The original Station was built in 1983, but was now outgrown. A quote from the above article: "Corryong police are often central to emergency management responses including bushfires, flooding, road trauma and missing persons and now have the space to better coordinate this work."

Corryong will also get some representation of the nine new family violence specialists that will be allocated to the region.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
